GigVault Lite is a free, streamlined version focused on the essentials: manually logging income, expenses, and mileage. The full GigVault app adds GPS auto-tracking, shift tracking, cloud sync, advanced analytics, Pro subscription, and more.
GigVault Lite supports all major gig platforms including DoorDash, Uber/Uber Eats, Lyft, Instacart, Amazon Flex, Grubhub, Shipt, Spark, and many more. You can also add custom platforms in Settings.
Income Tracking
From the Dashboard, tap the "Log Income" card. Enter your earnings amount, select the platform (like DoorDash), choose the date, add optional notes, and tap Save.
Yes! On the Add Income screen, scroll down to your recent entries. Tap an entry to edit it, or long-press to delete it.
Go to Settings > Gig Platforms. You can check/uncheck platforms to show in your dropdown, and add custom platforms using the + button.
Expense Tracking
Tap the "Log Expense" card on the Dashboard. Enter the amount, select a category (Fuel, Maintenance, Insurance, Phone, etc.), choose the date, add optional notes, and tap Save.
Default categories include Fuel, Maintenance, Insurance, Phone, Tolls, Parking, Food, Supplies, and Other. You can customize these in Settings > Expense Categories.
Yes! Go to Settings > Expense Categories and tap the + button to add your own categories.
Mileage Tracking
GigVault Lite uses manual mileage entry. Enter your miles driven, select a purpose, and the app automatically calculates your estimated IRS tax deduction based on the current rate.
For 2026, the IRS standard mileage rate is $0.725 per mile for business use. GigVault Lite automatically calculates your estimated deduction based on this rate.
No, GPS auto-tracking is only available in the full GigVault app. GigVault Lite supports manual mileage entry only.
Yes! Go to Settings > Mileage Purposes to add, remove, or customize the purpose options that appear in the dropdown.
Calendar
The Calendar gives you a visual overview of your earnings activity. Each day shows color-coded pills for income (green), expenses (red), and mileage (purple). Tap any day to see detailed entries.
Yes! Tap any day to open the detail view, then use the +Income, +Expense, or +Mileage buttons to add entries for that day.
Data & Storage
All data is stored locally on your device. GigVault Lite does not use cloud sync, accounts, or external servers. Your data stays on your phone.
No, GigVault Lite stores data locally on your device only. For cross-device cloud sync, check out the full GigVault app.
If you uninstall GigVault Lite, all your data will be permanently lost since it’s stored locally on your device. Make sure to record any important information before uninstalling.

Ads allow us to offer GigVault Lite completely free. The ad revenue helps support ongoing development and improvements.

Settings & Customization
Yes! Go to Settings > Appearance to switch between Light, Dark, and System (automatic) themes.
Go to Settings and tap Gig Platforms, Expense Categories, or Mileage Purposes to customize the options that appear in each dropdown throughout the app.
Tax Information
No. GigVault Lite helps you track income, expenses, and mileage for tax purposes, but it’s not tax preparation software. Consult a tax professional for filing your taxes.
The IRS recommends keeping mileage logs (date, destination, purpose, miles), income records by platform, expense receipts, and start and end odometer readings. GigVault Lite helps you track all of this.
Troubleshooting
Try closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, make sure you’re running the latest version from the Google Play Store. You can also try restarting your phone. If nothing works, contact us at support@gpcreativestudios.com.
