GP Creative Studios LLC (“we”, “our”, “us”) built NexUnit as a free, ad-supported utility app. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our app.
Data Collection
NexUnit does not directly collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app does not require an account, login, or internet connection to function. However, NexUnit displays ads through Google AdMob, which may collect device identifiers and usage data as described in the Third-Party Services section below.
Local Storage
NexUnit saves your preferences (such as favorite converters, theme, unit system, and decimal precision) locally on your device using standard Android system storage (SharedPreferences). This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.
Third-Party Services
Most conversions and calculations are performed entirely offline on your device. The Currency converter requires an internet connection to fetch live exchange rates. NexUnit uses the following third-party services:
- Google AdMob: Displays ads within the app. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data per Google's Privacy Policy.
- ExchangeRate-API: Provides live currency exchange rates. No personal data is sent — only currency pair requests.
Deleting Your Data
You can reset all locally stored data at any time from Settings > Reset All Data within the app. Uninstalling the app also removes all stored preferences from your device.
Children's Privacy
NexUnit does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13. The app is safe for users of all ages.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
