Welcome to GigVault. These Terms of Service govern your use of our mobile application. By using GigVault, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before using the app.

Agreement to Terms

• By downloading, installing, or using GigVault, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
• If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the application.
• These terms apply to all users of the app, including free and Pro subscribers.
• Your continued use of GigVault constitutes acceptance of any updates to these terms.

License to Use

• We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use GigVault for personal, non-commercial purposes.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our app or its content.
• You may not reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the app.
• This license does not give you any ownership rights in the app or its content.

User Accounts

• You may be required to sign in with your Google account to use certain features like cloud sync.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Subscriptions & Payments

• GigVault offers a Pro subscription with additional features available for purchase.
• Subscriptions are billed through the Google Play Store and are subject to Google's terms and conditions.
• Subscription prices may vary by region and are displayed before purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Refunds are handled by Google Play in accordance with their refund policies.

User Data

• You retain ownership of all data you enter into GigVault, including income, expenses, and mileage records.
• Your data is stored locally on your device and in Firebase when cloud sync is enabled.
• We do not access, sell, or share your personal financial data with third parties.
• You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data and exporting it before deleting your account.

Prohibited Uses

• You may not use GigVault for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
• You may not use the app to transmit malware, viruses, or other malicious code.
• You may not use the app in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our services.
• You may not use automated systems or software to extract data from the app.

Disclaimer

• GigVault is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
• We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.
• Tax calculations and mileage deductions provided by the app are estimates only.
• GigVault is not a substitute for professional tax or financial advice.
• We are not responsible for any decisions made based on information provided by the app.

Limitation of Liability

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
• We are not liable for any loss of data, profits, or business opportunities arising from your use of the app.
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the past 12 months.
• Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.

Termination

• We may terminate or suspend your access to the app immediately, without prior notice, for any reason.
• You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
