Delete Your GigVault Account
You can permanently delete your GigVault account and associated data at any time. Choose whichever option works best for you.
Android Version
Delete in the app (fastest)
If you still have GigVault installed, this is the fastest way to delete your account:
- Open the GigVault app on your Android device.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Deletion begins immediately and is typically completed within 30 days. See “Retention period” below for details.
Request deletion by email
If you no longer have the app installed, or you can't access the in-app option, email us and we'll handle the deletion for you:
Email support@gpcreativestudios.comPlease send the request from the email address you used to sign in to GigVault so we can verify ownership. Include “GigVault Android — Account Deletion Request” in the subject line.
What gets deleted
When your deletion request is processed, the following are removed permanently:
- Your GigVault account (Firebase Authentication record) and any sign-in credentials.
- All gigs and jobs — every income entry, shift, and job record tied to your account.
- Expense and mileage records — including receipts, manual entries, and GPS trip logs synced to the cloud.
- Profile data — display name, avatar, and any preferences linked to your account.
- App settings — categories, platform preferences, and any custom configuration synced from your device.
- Local cache on your device is cleared when you delete the account from inside the app. If you used email-only deletion, uninstalling the app removes any remaining local cache.
Aggregated and fully anonymized analytics that cannot be tied back to you may be retained for product improvement, as described in our Privacy Policy. Records we are required to keep for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or accounting purposes (for example, subscription receipts processed by Google Play) may also be retained for the legally required period.
Retention period
Account and personal data are deleted from our active systems within 30 days of receiving your request. Residual copies may remain in encrypted backups for up to an additional 60 days before being overwritten on their normal rotation schedule, after which they cannot be restored.
Note that deleting your GigVault account does not cancel an active Google Play subscription. To stop billing, open the Google Play Store app → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → GigVault → Cancel subscription.
