GigVault Privacy Policy

GP Creative Studios LLC (“we”, “our”, “us”) built GigVault as a commercial app offered with both free and premium subscription tiers. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our app.

Information We Collect

• Data you enter: GigVault stores income, expense, mileage, and shift data that you manually enter. This data is stored locally on your device using an on-device database.
• Camera: GigVault requests camera access solely for the OCR receipt scanning feature. Photos are processed on-device using Google ML Kit and are not uploaded to any server. Camera access is only used when you explicitly choose to scan a receipt.
• Location: If you enable GPS mileage tracking, GigVault accesses your device's location to record trip distances. Location data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to external servers.

Third-Party Services

GigVault uses the following third-party services:

• Google AdMob: Displays ads to free-tier users. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data per Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Play Billing: Processes subscription purchases. Payment information is handled entirely by Google Play.
• Firebase Authentication: If you sign in, Firebase processes your authentication credentials per Firebase's Privacy Policy.
• Google ML Kit: Used for on-device text recognition (OCR). All processing occurs locally on your device.

Data Storage & Security

Your income, expense, mileage, and shift data is stored locally on your device. If you enable cloud sync, your data is stored in Firebase using industry-standard encryption. We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties.

Children's Privacy

GigVault is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date.
